Win-Win Donation Options
Arizona Tax Credit
People Who Care is a Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO), which means your donation to us is eligible for a dollar-for-dollar credit against your Arizona state tax bill (maximum tax credit is $495 for single filers and $987 for joint files) for the 2025 tax year. Help yourself and help a Neighbor, too! It’s a win-win! And it’s easy to do:
1. Call us at 928-445-2480—we can process your donation by credit card or bank account over the telephone.
2. Mail a check to us at: PO Box 12079, Prescott, AZ 86304.
3. Drop by our office at 1580 Plaza West Drive, Prescott, and donate by check, credit card, or cash.
4. Donate online at PeopleWhoCareAZ.org/donate/–just scroll to the donation form at the top of this page!
Make sure to use our QCO number, 20378, on your tax return to claim the credit. The deadline to file your taxes is April 15!
Fry’s Community Rewards Program
Check grocery shopping at Fry’s Food Stores off your to-do list as you simultaneously support People Who Care! Register in five easy steps:
- Click “Get Started” at the bottom-left of the Fry’s Community Rewards page.
- Log in to your current Fry’s account or register for a new one. With new accounts, you will need to provide basic contact information and your current Fry’s VIP card number.
- After signing in, enter People Who Care (#DJ771) in Arizona and click “Enroll.”
- You will then be directed to your Account Profile with a confirmation message. You should now see People Who Care listed under the “Community Rewards” section.
- Once signed up, simply swipe your current Fry’s VIP Rewards Card and we will earn a small percentage of each purchase.
Legacy Giving
Leave a local legacy with a planned gift. There are several ways to become a legacy donor, including bequests, trusts, wills, annuities and Qualified Charitable Distributions.
